A Story Worth Telling…

Joseph Joseph & Anna Grace Campise

INSPIRING, LOVING, COMPASSIONATE

Joe & Grace, both first generation Americans, raised during the great depression in the outskirts of St. Louis Missouri. Hard workers with huge hearts, Joe and Grace knew what demanding work was and they did not shy away from it, they built a wonderful life on the principals of love, family, and work.

One of Joe’s many lessons was if someone else can figure it out then you can.

Only having a 6th grade formal education, Joe taught himself carpentry, electrical, and plumbing, he always had a thirst for knowledge. He loved to think, to figure out problems, and he encouraged everyone around him to do the same. Joe enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment he felt at the end of the day when looking back at what his labors produced but equally appreciated the knowledge and problem solving that was needed to achieve success.

Joe took his grandson Sean on jobs as early as 5 years old, by 7 Sean was walking the roofs of the commercial high rise warehouses in St. Louis with his grandfather, at 9 Sean was hot soldering and leading pipe. He wired his first room addition before he could dive and still to this day holds his grandfathers values and motivations at the highest level.

If I am able to help and influence half the lives my grandfather has then I will have been a huge success.

“What we do is so much more then build homes, additions, and furniture. We problem solve, we think creatively and set out to build beautifully amazing things. To us, this is a passion, this is our way of life and how we think. I truelly love what I do and thank my grandfather for teaching me the craftsman way of thinking and living.” S. Carbery
